Lynda Sappington

The earliest story Lynda Sappington can remember creating was one she told her parents on a car trip when she was six. She’s been writing ever since. After many years of sharing amateur stories with her friends, she decided to take the challenging leap into professional novel-writing.

In addition to writing fiction, Lynda Sappington authored a “how-to” book, “Sculpting 101: A Primer for the Self-taught Artist,” the second edition of which will be released through Whimsy Hill Publishing in the fall of 2008. The second Star Sons novel will be published in 2009.

Creativity in communicating has long been a passion of Ms. Sappington, who was editor-in-chief and publisher of the former online magazine “ArtVoices.” She has also conducted interviews and written investigative reports for local newspapers as well as feature articles for national newsletters and magazines.

Lynda Sappington lives on a farm in western Ohio with her husband, John, their three horses, three cats and a dog. In addition to writing, she is also a professional sculptor, producing fine art bronzes, mostly of horses. To read interviews with her, click here: Dayton Daily News Interview and Straight from Hel.
